Tell Congress: Health Care Reform Can't Wait!

There has been a lot of recent action on health care reform. Two weeks ago, the U.S. House of Representatives  released and the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee passed health care reform legislation that include some solid provisions that will benefit low-income people living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic conditions.

TAKE ACTION: Stop Funding Cuts to Lifesaving State HIV Programs!

State funds for vital HIV prevention, housing, and care programs are in jeopardy.  Last week, House Speaker Michael Madigan announced that at least one-quarter of the state's budget would need to be cut unless additional revenue is identified and approved.  That means that essential programs serving Illinoisans with and at risk for HIV could face a 25% or greater funding cut.
