Conference Call - Pozitive Health Care Reform: Transforming the Health of our Community
Fantasy, fiction, and fear have hampered the debate around reforming our health care (or sick care) system. The truth is that health care reform could completely enhance the prevention and treatment of HIV, as well as improve the overall health and wellbeing of people affected by the epidemic. As it turns out, the only “death panels” involved would be for bloated insurance profits.
Please join the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC), Illinois Public Health Association, and Health Care for America NOW (HCAN) for an informational conference call on Friday, October 2 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., to learn what is really being proposed and how it would affect those living with and at risk of HIV/AIDS. AFC’s Vice President of Policy, David Munar and John Gaudette, HCAN Illinois State Health Care Director, will be on hand to explain the facts and fictions of reform, and answer YOUR questions.
Please recruit your colleagues, friends, and clients to join this important call. Email Aamna to RSVP.
Call Info: Friday, October 2 from 12:00 – 1:00pm 1-866-206-0240
