This is a training program for clinicians and other health professionals.  If you are a community member, please feel free to tell your health provider about the program!

The Chicago HIV Breakfast Club is a monthly clinical management seminar developed to provide education and training to Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Dental Professionals in the field of HIV (non-clinical Health Professionals are also welcome).  Complimentary breakfast is served. Complimentary valet parking available.

This month we welcome Renslow Sherer, MD, Professor of Medicine in the Department of Infectious Diseases from the University of Chicago Medical Center.  He will be providing an update from the 2010 Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections taking place in San Francisco, CA February 16th  through 19th, 2010.

 

 

Learning Objectives:

▪Identify emerging regimens and strategies for various stages of HIV
▪Describe emerging complications and toxicities of long-term HIV disease and treatment
▪Review current guidelines for initiating, changing and monitoring response to therapy in HIV positive patients.
▪Discuss HAART pharmacokinetic interactions and implications for successful therapy and toxicities
